Trafford Children, Families and Well being directorate has brought together the separate services of the different statutory agencies in the Council and the Health Trusts, working in partnership with Children, Young People and Families,Schools, Colleges, Police and the Voluntary Sector to create a new integrated multi-agency service.
Wehave received positive feedback from OFSTED following announced and unannounced inspections which identified strengths such as "child protection concerns are managed very well" and that staff received "good management support,supervision and training".
The Social Worker role requires a recognised social work qualification and up to date experienceof working with children and families. You will have a sound knowledge of legislation relevant to the posts and a demonstrable insight into the issues facing children, young people and families. With strong communication andassessment skills, you will have the ability to develop effective working relationships with families and colleagues from multi agencies.
