Trafford Council is recruiting for a Public Health Commissioning Manager. You will be a core member of a small and very busy team with ample opportunities to work across the full range of Public Health key areas, working in partnership with colleagues in the Council, the CCG and more widely. We are part of the Integrated Commissioning Directorate of the Council and the CCG, and are co-located with CCG and Council colleagues. This is a great opportunity to lead a portfolio of public health areas, including commissioning activities, across these thematic areas:
* Public health commissioning relating to specific life course topics* Public and Voluntary Sector Engagement * Maximising the impact of Universal Services* Addressing the wider determinants of health
As a Public Health Commissioning Manager you will be expected to progress activity which will support the delivery of population and health wellbeing outcomes in Trafford. This will require public health, commissioning and programme management skills. You will also have line management responsibilities.
This is a permanent position, and is open to people wishing to work full time, part time, or job share.
